Farewell 2007

I'm glad 2007 is almost over. This has been a year that I am happy to put behind me. I went through a divorce and lost my best friend in the process, made a few new friends, reconnected with some old friends, and feel like I am losing a friend by trying to gain a new one now. You can't win for losing at times it seems.

This year has taught me how fickle people can be, how people can say one thing to you and mean another. I always mean what I say, but I think others find it hard to accept you as genuine when they themselves aren't always that way.

I don't wear a mask, put on a false front, pretend to be someone I'm not. I may seem moody, but I don't smile when I'm not happy just to put others at ease. I can't be untrue to who I am, I can't fake who I am.

I hope 2008 is a good year for all of you, that you are all blessed with success financially, in your relationships, with your family, and that it is a better year for all of you than 2007 was.
